N. Tripi, Age Unknown, Location Unknown
Dear California,
My faith in the Christian spirit of religion was shaken this week. I love Christ, I follow his teachings and live my live by his example, and nowhere in that life or that example do I find an explanation of the message that I hear from those around me who profess to feel the same way. Marriage does not belong to us, it never has. Marriage has existed in every civilization in the history of the world, and only a very small percentages of those have been Christian until the last few hundred years. I feel very terrible about the fact that my gay friends and family cannot get married. I'm so sorry. I'm so so very sad. I will do everything in my power to change this.
Tearfully,
N. Tripi
